Z: Why vis?

Node: Visualizations are invariant to data storage formats

Descriptor StorageInvariance
Argumentative standpoint Basic
Description

Some storage formats of data do not represent all features of the abstract structure faithfully. For example, a set stored as a list implies an order that is not present in the abstract set structure. Good visual representations do not reproduce these misrepresentations of underlying data storage formats.
